Notebooks
Free-form workspaces for collecting findings, screenshots, notes, and links to gaps, opportunities, and tests.
Notebooks are the "scratchpad" of Spar. Use them when you want to assemble a narrative around a set of findings — for a planning meeting, a client review, or a redesign brief.

- Free-form rich text.
- Screenshots and images.
- Embedded references to gaps, opportunities, tests, or pages.
- Links and external references.
How they're different from Reports
- Notebooks are working documents. They're editable, collaborative, and iterative.
- Reports are snapshots. Once generated they're frozen so you can hand them to a client and know nothing's going to shift underneath them.
Use a Notebook to build up your thinking. Generate a Report when you're ready to share the result.
Sharing notebooks
Every store has a default notebook. You can create more from the Notebooks page. Notebooks can be shared via link — see Sharing.
