Opportunities
Testable bets that bundle one or more related gaps into a single hypothesis you can act on.
An opportunity is a unit of work. It bundles one or more related gaps into a single hypothesis, attaches a wireframe of the proposed change, and gives you a one-click path to either an A/B test or a direct fix.

/screenshots/features/opportunities-list.pngWhere opportunities come from
- Promoted from a gap. From Triage, Pages, or Journey, you can click "Create opportunity" on any gap.
- Generated automatically. After an audit, Spar bundles related high-impact gaps into opportunity drafts for you.
- Created manually. Use the Create opportunity button on the Opportunities page if you want to track something Spar didn't surface.
Opportunity status
Opportunities move through three states:
- New — drafts that haven't been acted on.
- Active — promoted into a test or a fix that's in flight.
- Resolved — completed (won, lost, or shipped).
You can also archive an opportunity if it's no longer relevant.
